To be fair i have not seen the trailer or movie yet, so we’ll have to see what it is like in 2024. I might possibly be the biggest TLK fan there is, as i can recite the whole movie word for word. The fact that Mufasa isn’t royal makes me upset. So this movie will be different and the storyline will be all over the place. In this prequel Mufasa is an orphaned cub who had to “navigate the world alone, by himself," Said Jenkins. So there was no mention of Scar or The Lion Guard or Ahadi and Uru. So as we all know The Pridelands have been ruled by Simba and Mufasa’s family for generations, (as told by TLK, TLK2, TLG, and the book series) Disney is planning on going a different direction. And this is where it goes down hill… “Not a drop of royal blood." i read. (perhaps kovu and kiaras cub) The trailer (only to be released at D23 so far) starts with cub Mufasa.
Mufasa apparently is supposed to be told in two different ways as Timon, Pumbaa, and Rafiki, tell the story of Mufasa to a new cub. D23 released The new Mufasa movie at D23!!
